Pitching Pointers

1. Who We Are

Pitching Pointers is a product of BFU Agency. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information — your email address and hashed password when you sign up.
• Pitcher profile — name, age, height, weight, handedness, skill tier, and optional photo that you provide when setting up a profile.
• Uploaded videos — video files you upload for analysis. These are used solely to run the mechanical analysis and are not shared with any third party.
• Analysis results — the output of each analysis, stored so you can reference past sessions.
• Billing information — payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status.

3. Player Video Privacy

Videos you upload are used only to analyze pitching mechanics. They are not shared with coaches, scouts, third parties, or anyone outside BFU Agency. They are not used to train machine learning models. They are not made public under any circumstances. We treat player videos as private by default.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• — Provide and improve the pitching analysis service
• — Manage your account and subscription
• — Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, analysis complete)
• — Respond to support requests

We do not send marketing emails without your consent. We do not sell your data. Ever.

5. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate Pitching Pointers:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Railway — hosting and database infrastructure. Data is stored in the United States.
• Cloudflare — DNS and email routing.
• Google (Gmail) — transactional email delivery.

No other third parties receive your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and analysis history for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days. To request deletion, email [email protected].

7. Children's Privacy

Pitching Pointers accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from minors. Pitcher profiles for minors are created and managed by their parent or guardian.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that constitutes acceptance.
